We are not human beings have a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience. Loved it ❤ XX Kindly go through my blogs if anyone comes across this comment.
The difficult part is to access and load all the knowledge or at least the most useful part of it relating to this physical incarnation into this limited and self-destructive brain. I’m at it now and it’s a challenging yet adventurous and beautifully rewarding journey. Thanks for this, came timely. We need such reminders/triggers all the time as the ego-mind finds many ways to get distracted and make us lose the way in the maze of our lives, both physical and eternal. Namaste.
And maybe I’m just a cynic – i just don’t believe everybody wants to shine a light, some just don’t have a light to shine …maybe. I would struggle to see a light in someone who hurts animals or a paedophile etc…Oh it’s a volatile landscape to navigate out here! 😉
On those instances, I’d say those who are evil have no light but only darkness. The soul is light, and those who harm animals, children, people, etc. have no soul, in my humble opinion.
I have not read CS Lewis yet, but I member ‘fight club’ had a lot of good lines about trying to find self, and ridding yourself of your things to be free. 🙂

Your soul also shines, not your belongings.

Absolutely, but not in all unfortunately – if only it were easier to see that shine! 🙂

I think if we persevere, that shine comes through. Maybe I am naive.

CS Lewis is so freaking quotable. Another one I like: “Pain is God’s megaphone.”
