my soul says

fly, my love

as high as you can

My heart begs

you to stay

as close as you can

my mind says

you must grow

  7. If you love somebody, if you love someone, then set them free. If they stick around then it was meant to be, children have to be allowed to do their own thing. Make their own way in life, but if we have taught them well then they will be ready to face anything life throws at them. The only pain is knowing we can’t hold them any longer. Peace comes with time, keep yourself safe my very dear friend xoxo

    • Thank you and yes that is the truth 🙂 He’s a great young man, and I’m proud of him and where he is going and what he represents – sometimes I look at him and still see him like he was 5 yrs old, and that sometimes seems like yesterday too…love n light xoxo

      • It’s always hard to realise how quickly the time flies between birth and college. All we can do is try our best to bring them up to be decent human beings, respectful of their elders and trustworthy. The rest is up to them, love and peace always xoxo

      • Thank you and to you – yes, I have done my best – he’s been to university in another city which was tough enough but now he has travelled to greater fields in Australia which seems way too far away although he now is a grown man! I miss him and he is my only child and we are close 🙂 But he stays in touch and I want him to explore the world and find out who he is and keep growing and filling up his soul 🙂 xoxo
