When we are
touching skin
when you have
let me in
With a dream-like
essence
I feel your
presence
the heat from
your skin
when you let me in
I know there
are no lies
I can see it
in your blue eyes
I can feel it
from your mouth
I can hear it in
your blazing skin
when you let me in
the goose bumps on
your flesh
and our kiss
can only express
we are so lost
it must be a sin
but only when
you let me in

What made u write that

Hmmm, good question. It was because of an arms’ length relationship. When he forgot to be hard he was very soft, but only when he let his barriers down

Beautifully put into words! painfully sweet, you gave the words a new definition altogether. I have written a few poems about love. I hope you read them and tell me what you think. My native language is not English but I aim to be better at writing in English.

Awesome! And thank you – yes I think your English is very good for one for whom it is not native! The grammar is the worst, next to the strange spelling of things š But you do very well!

Love the pic as much as the poem, did you mean to use a vampire to give the words an added twist?
LikeLiked by 2 people
Absolutely – and a love undying is so well represented by that vampire mythology and mystique! š

I will rather live in sin than to deny myself….
