I was reminded to clarify this, by a comment and I thank you; this is how it feels to the person who is so broken they can’t see any future or hope. Of course there are so many more options than suicide, but to the suicide victim there is not.

Even for the suicide victim, I don’t believe it’s the only option.
In that situation, enlightenment comes in. And when there is no source of enlightenment, then the victim should consider the fact of life and the availability of hope.
But why should someone even take his life in the first place?

Because that light is gone. It’s not just a light at the end of the tunnel – the tunnel is black and neverending. There is no hope, no enlightenment, no purpose, no self worth. And so on. I understand it is very difficult for many to comprehend unless you’ve experienced that pain and survived it somehow. But this is my truth, how I felt, what I’ve seen and want to expose so that the help that is needed is given – not just following steps. It’s a very complex situation and not something solved or understood overnight. ๐โฎ๏ธ๐

I understand anyways.
But I still believe that suicide is never an option.

I love that, and it’s that determination that saves many lives. It’s good that we speak about it all. Even just sharing understandings of life.

Such a moving thought, many experience this especially in an artistic lifestyle. I for one have embraced depression as a means to connect with whatever experience led me to this and live in it to fully experience the truthfulness of it and to then apply to my work. Thank you for sharing much love.

I used to believe it was the most selfish thing a person could do but as I grew older and wiser I came to understand that I have no right to judge someone else’s life (or death) choices. We are all so fragile.

So very true! And with today’s extra dramas as well…some barely hang on. Thank you for not being judgmental, that is very insightful!๐๐๐๐ป

It does appear so at times and to those persons – it is so sad. Let us spread and share so much love that there is no room for suicide, anywhere ๐

Yes, we need kindness and understanding. People need to worry more about people and not money!โ๐ป๐

It isn’t the only option, but on the mind of one at this mindstate this may be it. It’s sad, but people don’t understand. Why is one suicidal. I don’t talk from experience, I was once a cutter, but it was because that pain was better…. anyways. I never been at that level, but I understand it. I also understand how they need something else. Something is missing. If anyone needs an ear, I am here. You’re alive for a reason. Don’t, please. YOU HAVE A PURPOSE. .

Exactly, I think severe clinical depression, loneliness and not being able to share can heavily influence a person’s well being and mental state. Thank you and yes I feel completely the same and this is why I’m going to share my story. Suicide has some terrible stigmas and it’s time we shone a light on suicide, rather than leaving it cowering in the dark! Thank you for your beautiful and heartfelt offer too ๐๐ป๐
