As a writer I sometimes struggle to write and other times it just falls out of me. Sometimes I wonder where what I write about comes from. I know I make a calculated plan – the skeleton or bones – of an idea but then the flesh just layers upon it, creating the monster. The words used, the feelings created and the imagery perceived is what the end goal is.
A new character with a new idea of the world and what it owes them or what they must pay to live in my book, emerges. I know the title, I know her, I know her story. I would like to share this journey with you too. The beginning of gods’ daughter…..

Not struggling… Awaiting the high tide of creativity… Appreciate the views in the mean time. Tis the ebb n flow of all creatives.

Iโve experienced that too. Sometimes when Iโll read back something I wrote and not really remember writing it. Your story sounds so interesting.

Thank you Bridgette! I haven’t touched it in months, eventhough I think about it every day! Just sending myself on a guilt trip lol๐ Yes, it’s weird reading it back and you don’t remember! Did my alter ego write that??๐

It’s a classic struggle. Every time I finish writing something, I feel like I may never have anything else to say until I do. Rinse and repeat.

Yes! Like I’ve already written my best story, my best poem, my best line….and then something falls out of or in to (not sure of osmotic process) my brain and I’m off again.

The ebb and flow of creativity and imagination that creates such works of art is a reflection on the fluid nature of life. Go with the flow and all will be fine.

Oh man, I have started writing 3 different pieces – god’s daughter, My See-through mind (poetry) and a new one called Jess (for now) but I couldn’t stop writing her when I’m s’posed to be writing god’s daughter…..sigh…dilemmas ;). I don’t have enough hands!
