- Poetry, or writing, isn’t a forced process, I wake up at night to scribble down stuff. I keep a pen and notebook at hand so that I don’t lose anything – I may wake up in the clear light of day and just think it’s a load of crap….but at least I get to verify that!
Each word is a footstep. Each sentence is a mile. Every lifetime is a book, which ever way you walk or write, it shall be finished. – Me π

what about the mere desire to write, does anybody ever get that? Sometimes I want to write so badly, but not that I actually think there’s something in me, just wishing there was.

If it must come out then you must write it! And yes, I get a desperate hankering to write at times tooππ»

That’s why you create your own luck and make sure you can scribble it down, text it, leave a message to self or whichever way possible. I learned the hard way – and you’re right, you never quite get it back in its completeness π

I keep my phone handy (where I jot down notes) at all times, in case ideas come flying. π

Haha! Oh I have done the same – I thought I lost my phone the other day and was horrified as I had so much stuff on it with regards to story lines or hooks for god’s daughter etc – so what a relief when I found its silly little self hiding at the bottom of the car!! π
