I cry
I cry and I cry
for what I am not
What I am perceived as
is not what they got
I grieve
I break and bend
for what has a future
that already knows the end?

I felt the poem came from a place of feeling under valued. I am not certain if that was the intention, but I enjoyed it very much.

Thank you! Well I like to think that it is about interpretation – about relating. Words are read differently by all, that’s the beauty in others reading your words! But where there is positive there is negative which comes with the territory. Just hope for mostly positive responses!🙂🌻

I like this poem. I identify with it, crying for what I am not and will never be. Crying for what is thought that never was.
You are expressive. I like it.
Here is a post by another author that I like that you may like. I find this author expressive, and the non-expressive posts are full of hope too.
Here is a poem:https://soon.school.blog/2019/08/30/plainlove/
I see you have been writing for years. I like many of the older posts also.
Peace and Love to you.

Kait, my dear friend, death isn’t the end. After death comes rebirth, a chance to try again. Put right as many of the mistakes made this time around and an opportunity to shine brightly.

Hey, I hope you don’t mind but I nominated you. https://cclaringboldblog.wordpress.com/2015/09/23/245/ I absolutely loved this post as it allows everyone to individually interpret it to fit their story. Really clever!

Thank you so very much – and for the nomination – I wish I had the time to do the nominations I am put up for and I am so sorry to have to refuse but I am an avid writer and I just never find enough time in the day to do it all! I never mind at all but I am so sorry to not be able to take it up! Thank you thank you thank you 🙂 and apologies for not participating! I hope you understand…:)
