Be Careful What You Wish For

be careful what u wish for

She gazes across

an icy panacea

The kestrel above

calls when he sees her

The sun, though present,

is fractionated

It’s warmth not worth

being appreciated

A tumble of Schnauzers

race to greet her

A ten out of ten

on the Cute-O-Meter

Gazing liquid eyes

desperate to be touched

It was nobodys’ wonder why

she loved them so much

Their little furry faces

had such a lot to say

She couldn’t imagine being

without them

every single day

Although things weren’t perfect

in a very imperfect life

And she would have no more children

and may never be a wife

But the beauty all around her

and the freedom that she loved

Was all that she had asked for

from the Universe above

Duty, Cathedrals and St Francis

Duty st francis and cathedrals

Please be kind to all animals❤️❤️

I walk in

I can’t speak

the reverence

sucks the air

out of me

candles glitter

in shapes of love

for all of the animals

bestowed from above

And if it is what

they say to be true,

if I’m shaped like the shape

of a god, just like you,

I know that I am duty-bound

to share that love for all

all around

Please Be Kind To All Animals

A present for a poo – for doggie lovers

It doesn’t matter what you do

chew up my panties

leave a present that’s a poo

bury personal items

dig a deeper hole

drag cow dung inside

pee on the stripper pole

rip up the newspaper

before it’s even read

take up most of the room

in my double bed

chew a cavern in the chair

bark at things that are not there

but I’d like to make it very clear –

There’s nothing I wouldn’t do for you

even though I’m only worth a poo

I really, really do love you 🙂
(Just to make things clear, I’m talking about a dog, not my man!)
