Hey have just been reading some of your stuff! Really heartfelt and thanks for sharing those fragile feelings so well 🙂 You know you won’t just “get over” these things, but you will move around them and they will shape who you are and how you view the world. Try to look at this understanding as a gift, an experience – a jolt into reality….sad but necessary in the land of earthlings! 🙂

Oh thank you very much (*blushing*!) But really I think, just making sure it comes from the essence of you is what matters. Sometimes we contemplate too much whereas following one’s gut instinct – for me, is the most engaging way to write, and I see that in your writing too 🙂 Keep writing from the heart and you can’t go wrong! Oh…and read – read, read and read 😉

So true. I am doing this. He’s taking a cake for 6 years sober tonight and I need to go not for him, but for me. Realized yesterday I was cutting myself off from my socialization because of some him. I’m better than that. A plus, every poem and drawing about him is gone gone gone.

All power to you. I did suffer a twinge when you said everything you have put pen/cil to paper for him is gone….I did the same once – but only once, remember, no matter where they are – your soul was in the right place when you did those creations 🙂 they will always be precious and beautiful because of that 🙂

my friend said that yesterday. But it is best. Out of sight/mind. I get obsession. One night trying for hours to “fix” a poem about it I realized I couldn’t fix something and make it right, so I deleted it. I’m a tad into extremes.
